Privacy Policy

Rebotar ("we", "us") is an AI translation app available at rebotar.app and as an installable app. This policy explains what we collect and why. We keep it short and plain.
Text you translate
- To translate and check your text, we send it to our AI processing provider. It is used to produce your result. The provider may keep it for a limited time under its own policies, for example to monitor abuse.
- We do not save the text you translate on our servers, unless you choose to share a result (see below).
- We never sell your text or use it for advertising.
- Please don't enter sensitive personal, medical, legal or financial information. For important documents, use a professional human translator.
Results you choose to share
When you tap Share score, we save that result (your original text, the translation, the languages and the score) and create a public link and image. Anyone with the link can see it. To remove a shared result, email us the link.
Waitlist and contact
If you join the waitlist, we store your email and the options you picked, only to contact you about Rebotar. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Invites
Your invite code is a random code stored in your browser. We count visits and sign-ups that come through invite links. We don't link this to your identity.
Usage statistics and security
- We keep anonymous daily totals (for example, the number of translations and shares). These totals contain no text, IP addresses or user identifiers.
- To prevent abuse and control costs, we count requests per day per network address. The address is stored only as a one-way hashed value, and the counters reset daily.
- We don't use advertising trackers or sell data to anyone.
Service providers
We use hosting and infrastructure providers (such as Cloudflare) and an AI processing provider to run the service. They process data on our behalf to provide Rebotar.
Children
Rebotar is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.
Your rights
You can ask us to access or delete data related to you (for example, your waitlist email or a shared result). Email dave@rebotar.app.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date above.
